The custom ROM requires you to have a rooted/unlocked XOOM, but installation is a simple affair with you needing to just booting into recovery, making a backup, wiping your system and flashing the files. The end result? A functional version of Ice Cream Sandwich on your XOOM. At the moment it is only for the WiFi version of the tablet, so WiFi + 3G XOOM owners will have to wait. Hopefully an official update from Google/Motorola will roll out for the tablet in the near future.
